Hi, my name is Rachel Fredrickson. I am a Realtor with EXIT Realty Nexus and I Specialize in assisting sellers and buyers in the West Metro from Eden Prairie to Albertville. Cities including Chanhassen, Chaska, Excelsior, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Osseo, Rogers, Otsego & Saint Michael.

I have been a Realtor since March of 2005. Over the years I have enjoyed helping many people sell and buy their homes. In 2009 I continued my training, to increase my knowledge and skills to better assist the sellers/buyers I work with, and received my Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. I have been with EXIT Realty Nexus since 2011. The training and technology that EXIT provides are incredible and help me stay on top of the market. The training I have received has pushed my career to new levels! In 2014 and 2015, I was awarded ‘Agent of the Year’ by EXIT Realty Nexus. I was also awarded a ‘Bronze’ Designation in 2015 & 2019 by EXIT Realty International.

Over the Years, I have been able to build my business, primarily through referrals. I believe that taking care of my clients is the most important part of what I do! I believe that is why my clients refer me to their friends, family, co-workers and neighbors! These referrals take me all over the twin cities, and EXIT’s technology helps me market and sell everywhere!

EXIT Realty! What is EXIT??? Why do I work for EXIT??? I’ve been asked these questions a few times since choosing EXIT in 2011? Let’s start with the ‘What’ is EXIT??? EXIT Realty was founded by Steve Morris, a former Re/Max Agent~ He was a top producer at Re/Max for years and aspired to make the Real Estate Industry ‘better’. He founded EXIT in 1996 and he has made Real Estate Better!

Why do I work for EXIT? I chose EXIT in 2011 because EXIT supports me in 5 different ways.

     1) EXIT provides training to me both locally and nationally to help me continue to grow and stay current in the ever changing real estate market.
     2) EXIT provides me the tools to BRAND my listings and myself! You may not have heard of ‘EXIT Realty’ yet, but you WILL be able to find both my listings and I online because of their technology!
     3) EXIT is a leader in Technology! The tools at EXIT are incredible and again, they help me get my listings seen by buyers!
     4) EXIT’s Culture. I have never worked in an organization and felt more supported by the other agents, the broker, the Regional Owner, all the way up to the CEO and even our Founder himself! What company do you know where the Founder and CEO are still training their employees directly???

Last Question… Why am I a ‘Realtor’… Why? This is probably the most common question I am asked by those that ‘know’ me… I'm told that "Realtors have reputations like that of car salesman", "Realtor’s are lazy and don’t do much to earn that HUGE commission"… Sooo… A Realtor…. Yes! I CHOOSE to be a Realtor! NOT the Realtor that is described above… But a Realtor that TRULY CARES…

My ‘WHY’ is simple~

First~ I have a daughter that was born in 2012 and I LOVE being her mom~ Life didn’t work out as I had planned and I am a single mom~ Being a Realtor has allowed me to be her primary care-giver, the main influence in her life! I am blessed to have been able to not put her in a formal day care 5 days a week for 8-9 hours a day! Real Estate has given this to me! Being a Realtor has given this to my daughter and me! A joke at the office and with my friends is that my daughter is a Realtor in Training. She does many open houses with me (and she is GOOD at it)! She has went on showings and done listing appointments with me! She has even written purchase agreements with me! OK…. Maybe not the last one~ haha~ I am a Mom and I am a Proud to be a Realtor. I am proud to help people with the biggest financial decision they will ever make in their life! I am proud to help people buy a ‘house’ and make it their ‘HOME’.

Second~ I have a Masters Degree in Psychology and I choose to be a Realtor! Yes! I LOVE to help people~ Being a Realtor fulfills that side of me that wants to help others. We get to figure out a plan that will best suit where you are today and where you want to go tomorrow! I also have a Bachelors Degree in Spanish. Puedo hablar en Espanol (mas o menos) I may be a bit rusty, but I can still say a thing or two. My daughter is also bi-lingual. What I don't know, she does! 

Third, and Lastly, I LOVE to travel, learn about new cultures and see how other people live. Being a Realtor allows me to travel and see the world! It is also going to allow me to show this BEAUTIFUL world to my daughter, one country at a time :)
